SDS On Request

To help protect consumers from potentially adverse effects of hazardous materials, retailers are required by the Hazard Communication Standard enacted by the Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) to make available, upon request, Safety Data Sheets (SDS) to all of their customers. Retailers as employers must also make SDSs available to their employees. These requirements are based on the premise that employees and consumers who may be exposed to hazardous materials have a right to know about the hazards and how to protect themselves from the possible adverse effects of these substances.

United Hardware makes available to its dealers SDSs of all potentially hazardous products that it sells. The SDSs are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week either by telephone or online through Professional Emergency Response Services (PERS). The availability of this service enables retailers to meet their obligations under the OSHA Hazard Communication Standard.

To access a SDS by telephone, the number is (888) 673-7329. If you wish to submit your request by fax, the number is (801) 629-0680. A SDS Request form is available for printing by clicking here. SDS requests are processed in a timely manner in the order that they are received, except that emergency requests receive first priority. The SDSs will be provided by the dealer's choice of fax, email or U.S. Mail.

To access a SDS online, click on the PERS logo below. The SDS will be available for you to download or print out. Please note that the search option using the United Hardware sku/item number is not available at this time.
